Adjunct EMDR Therapy

Another service that our team provides is working adjunctly with patients who have a primary therapist:

There may be times when clients plateau in standard therapy as there are unprocessed  traumas that block complete healing.  In these cases, EMDR therapy can be offered as an adjunct service to support the work already underway with a client's primary therapist.

In this collaborative model; the EMDR therapist focuses specifically on the trauma processing and/or the targeted symptoms, while the primary therapist will maintain responsibility for overall treatment, ongoing support, and broader therapeutic goals.  Regular communication between the therapists ensures that the care remains coordinated, consistent and aligned with the clients needs.  This approach allows the clients to benefit from the effectiveness of EMDR without disrupting the existing therapeutic relationship, creating a seamless, team-based path towards healing.

When the trauma processing has been completed, so is the adjunct work.
